It is final: On December 2, 2021 the National Capital Planning Commission (NCPC) approved our redesign of the Hirshhorn Sculpture Garden! This concludes the approval process that began in 2018.

Since our project at the Hirshhorn Sculpture Garden is located within the protected historic landscape of the National Mall, we have been participating in a number of public hearings to discuss and determine “adverse affects” to the historic fabric (Section 106 process per the National Historic Preservation Act).
